Maybe it’s harder than it seems: photo shows the result of Duncan Smith being asked to point to his arse and his elbow.
In a speech yesterday Iain Duncan Smith announced that benefit recipients who aren’t in employment will become slaves as part of the Tory party’s “historic mission…to give people from chaotic lives security through hard work. And the security that they will get is knowing that the hard work will never end.”
He then went on to liken the scope of his policies to the outstanding achievements of William Wilberforce and Anthony Ashley-Cooper, the 7th Lord Shaftesbury. However Duncan Smith revealed himself to be a fan and not a detractor when it comes to slavery and dreadful working conditions insisting that slavery would bring freedom to those stuck “in neighbourhoods blighted by worklessness as seen on Benefits Street. These people sit around all day being undateable, having embarrassing bodies and no less than two thirds of them have ten-stone testicles. And furthermore I strongly refute allegations that all I do in the name of research is sit in my amazing-grace-and-favour mansion watching sensationalist Channel 4 documentaries and then having cheese dreams about them.”
Asked later by journalists how he expected to introduce slavery to the UK when it is banned across Europe, Duncan Smith simply smiled and muttered something about “two birds with one stone.”
