Brexit voters decide they don’t want a sovereign parliament after all

It’s immature but we want to caption this: ha ha ha aha ha ha. So we are

Despite claiming to love it more than racist posters and buses bedecked with lies, Brexiters are now saying that they want a sovereign parliament about as much as they want to live close to a mosque.

“Just because I said Parliament should stay the ultimate authority it didn’t mean I understood that Parliament is the ultimate authority,” wept a Brexit voter over their Daily Mail. “But you’ve got to be a little bit canny, haven’t you? Can’t be too frank about the real, ahem, darker reasons why Brexit appeals.”

“The Supreme Court’s decision today is absolutely disgusting!” they said. “It’s a breach of my European Human Rights to not have Brexit right now and I’m starting a twitter hashtag calling for the decision to be overturned by the European Council. What? No, I don’t know, what does irony mean?”
