Travel agent sells Brexiter a package holiday to Xenophobia

A Dunstable travel agent asked to recommend a Greek island with lots of British food and beer and no foreigners cheekily suggested ‘Xenophobia’ only for her client to adamantly suggest he wanted to go there.

“It was a mess all of my own making” admitted Sarah from Thomson. “When he asked how far it is from Luton to Xenophobia, I shouldn’t have said ‘surprisingly close’.”

“I was panicking as I booked him on a package to Zakynthos while putting ‘Luton-Xenophobia’ on the itinerary. I just hoped for the best – a bit like a Brexiter really.”

Sarah said a real bonus was her client paid top dollar for the budget package happily declaring “a weak pound is a price worth paying for freedom”.

“And when he asked me for something to keep the foreigners away, I sold him a bottle of sunscreen and reassured him that if he diligently applied absolutely none of it 3 times daily, no continentals would come near him.”
