Labour has a fight on its hands to win the General Election, as it needs to gain 67 MPs to get an overall majority.
Ed Miliband will be hoping to win back many of the seats the party lost in 2010, and will also need to take some big scalps to get into Downing Street. Employment minister Esther McVey in Wirral West, Education Secretary Nicky Morgan and the Greens’ only MP Caroline Lucas are all on the hit list.
Of course Labour will need to protect all the seats they currently have, which could prove a difficult task in Scotland thanks to the rise of the SNP.
There are some big Labour names stepping down as well this election, including former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, ex Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and the last Labour Chancellor Alastair Darling.
