The greatest story of the Rio Olympics is unfolding outside of any contest as everyone waits for Sir Steve Redgrave, legendary Olympian, to end patronising cock-rat in cheap slacks, John Inverdale.
Though the rowing events have now ended hopes are high that Redgrave, now loose in Rio with no need to pull it together for work, will terminate Inverdale before he can ruin any more sports with his trademark lack of insight and misogyny.
Should Redgrave fail to deliver then it is believed that Jonny Wilkinson will do everyone a favour when England play South Africa in November.
