“I was hoping for someone taller”
Cruise said he was starting to wonder whether Facebook quizzes were entirely accurate.
“I mean when the movie star quiz asked me ‘Height’, I truthfully put ‘six foot’ as I sometimes wear high heels. The quiz asked ‘Would you date someone your own age?’ and I said ‘yes’ because, you know, it is theoretically possible that I might go out with someone who wasn’t young enough to be my daughter.”
“With hindsight though I think I might have answered the ‘Do you believe a magical spaceship will take you to heaven?’ question a little too hastily.”
Cruise said these Facebook quizzes just dress themselves up in pseudo-science and give people the answers they want to hear to make people feel better about themselves, but denied this was anything like Scientology.
“Scientology has substance – it has both ‘science’ and ‘ology’” pointed out Cruise.
To cheer himself up, Cruise attempted the ‘What scientologist are you?’ Facebook quiz hoping to be L. Ron Hubbard.
“How the hell did I get ‘Tom Cruise’ when I answered that my height was nine feet?” wailed Cruise.
