Obama threatens air strikes against European Ryder Cup team, starting new Golf War

Continuing with his mission to rid the world of all threats to the United States of America, President Obama has said he is to launch air attacks on the European Ryder Cup team.

“There is a clear threat to the US in the golf,” Obama said in a speech to the US Congress. “A red line has been crossed and now we must act now stop more American citizens being humiliated overseas.”

The action, which some are calling “golf war 3”, may take place before play on Sunday as the Americans go into the last day trailing 10-6.

“Our players on the ground are doing their best to defend themselves from defeat,” Obama continued, “with many of them seeking safety in bunkers.”

Questions have been asked as to why the president has decided to act against the threat of a European win now, even though the US military failed to intervene in previous battles that saw American casualties, namely in 2012 at Medinah, and 2010 at Celtic Manor.

The President was quick to answer those criticisms pointing out that if the Scottish independence debate taught the world anything, it was Scotland’s still had enough oil to make it a natural home for American bombs.
