Hello all you lovely Haroldites!!

I am so sorry that this week’s little article is a few days late, but I’ve been helping Melanie with her new business venture, and time has just run away from me!!

I’m sure you all read last week about my beautiful girl’s quite genius plan to introduce yoga to the dogs of the village.  As a result, we’ve had quite an influx of visitors to our little café Veggie! Veggie! Veggie! as people pop in for one of Melanie’s info leaflets.  So many chaps of a certain age seem to be very keen to introduce their beloved pooches to the joy of inner tranquility and clarity of thought.  So many, in fact, that I’ve taken to just coyly slotting a flyer for Veggie! Veggie! Veggie! in between the sheets of Melanie’s leaflet in the hope of deriving a few extra patrons of my own!

Thanks to the interest already shown, Melanie should be able to get the classes up and running by next week, so exciting, although hopefully there won’t be a repeat of the debacle caused when she popped in with Mr Pips to watch the Cat Zumba class. Poor Mr Pips was Mr Poops for days as a result!

On the café front, I’ve been doing some research into the growing problem of childhood obesity, which absolutely is the parents’ fault, and what can be done about it.  I’ve been reading up on some of my good friends Gwynny and Madge’s micro-biotic recipes and combining them with some of my own favourites.  I just need to find a decent, local source of mung beans and we’ll be off and running!!

Dom’s been feeling better and better of late, so I’m hopeful that he’ll soon be off his meds be able to take some of the strain in Veggie! Veggie! Veggie! to allow me to travel a little further afield in my search for the perfect, local, organic, fair-trade, and ethical produce, which in turn, means that you, my darling customers, will all benefit!

That’s all for now, my darlings, until next week!
