Leicester City are poised to secure David Cameron as a fan unless they snap a worrying sequence of victories.
Foxes fans who happily cheered their team on to the verge of the Premier League title are now in a blind panic as they are confronted with the inevitability of David Cameron jumping on the bandwagon.
“Oh God I hope we engineer an almighty meltdown, and lose our last five games” said lifelong fan Brian Green.
“It will be hard what with facing opposition as inept as Man Utd and Chelsea, but if the boys dig deep and the bounce of the ball doesn’t go their way, I’m sure we can do it.”
David Cameron denied being a glory hunter, and said the Leicester Pigs had always been one of his favourite soccerball teams along with Aston Ham United.
